I took a leap of faith and pre-ordered apple pie for thanksgiving without having tried any of their baked goods prior. I do have to say that the 4 stars come from the ease of ordering online and pick up. it was so seamless! The pie was good, but unfortunately there was no "wow" factor for me that makes me want to go back. Although I am open to trying other pastries if I'm ever in the area.
The almond croissants are some of the best I have ever had. So flaky and delicious. I judge a bakery by its almond croissants and this bakery was right on!!!
4.5/5 Update: almond croissant is better now and more consistent than the competitors (downtown). Hands down! I know what was said previously and they changed for the better on the almond croissant. I been going consistently once a week and it has been consistently great. One thing I have to add, that I've finally tired is the pastrami and cheese croissant. I know this is a popular item because it's constantly sold out. You must try the pastrami and cheese croissant, you will not be disappointed!
Quality improved since months ago. Filling more evenly dispersed, not dry. I have been buying 3 to 5 croissants a week last few weeks. They are big enough to cut in half making it last longer or trying half of another in your purchase at same time. Prices are abt 6$ to 7$ ea for the ones I bought. Am more satisfied w product than months ago
Best focaccia in the area!! Regular and large, only in Fri-Sat in the store, and Sat at Danville Farmers Market, if you get there early enough.
This is a great bakery place to stop by. My hubby and I like their bakery goods and kuih. Their kuih was delicious and not overly sweet! We had curry puff, garlic cream cheese, and kouign amann. The garlic cream cheese taste so full of garlic. Anyway, they're so delicious! The only con is the location is quite deep inside.
